"We", "us", and "our" mean StatLoom, Inc.
Who can use StatLoom
Anyone 13 or older may create an account. There is no maximum age. College athletes and adults may use StatLoom.
Anyone under 13 is blocked. That is the COPPA line.
An athlete who is 13 to 17 may create an account and fill in the page without a parent present. The public page stays off until a parent or guardian confirms the email StatLoom sends. This is a StatLoom rule for the public link.
Anyone with the link can open a public page at /resume/:id or /p/:slug.
What a public page shows
When the page is on, it shows the athlete's name, photo, position, class year, and school.
The athlete can turn off other groups: measurables, speed and agility, strength, academics, highlight links, and family athletic history. Family athletic history means parent heights, each parent's sport and position, and a projected adult height.
Name, photo, position, class year, and school stay visible while the page is on.
A signed-in coach or recruiter can open a public page.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email, a password stored hashed, your date of birth, and your role.
For an athlete under 18, we collect a parent or guardian email.
We collect what you type: sport, position, school, graduation year, and a city, state, or other location if you enter one. We also collect a profile photo, athletic numbers, video, a transcript file, and family athletic history if you enter it.
StatLoom does not ask for a street address or background location.
The mobile app sends crash reports to Firebase Crashlytics.
How we use it
We use this information to run the account, show the page, send product email, and let a person review a submitted video.
StatLoom does not sell footage or personal information to advertisers.
Where it is stored
Accounts, the database, and files are stored with Supabase. The website is served by Cloudflare. Email is sent by Resend. If a paid plan is charged, Stripe processes it. The mobile app sends crash reports to Firebase Crashlytics.
The information is stored in the United States.
Deletion and copies
A signed-in user can delete the account at /delete-account on the website, or from the account menu in the app. Deletion is immediate. It removes the account, the athlete page, the stats, the verification records, and that person's uploaded files.
Backups, crash logs, and email logs may keep a copy for a limited time.
There is no self-serve export button. A parent or athlete may email [email protected] to ask for a copy or for deletion.
Parents and transcripts
A parent may email [email protected] and ask StatLoom to withdraw the public-page confirmation. After StatLoom records that withdrawal, the public page turns off. Sending the email does not turn the page off by itself.
An athlete may upload a transcript file. StatLoom is not a school and does not receive records from a district.
