StatLoom Terms of Service

StatLoom, Inc. operates StatLoom.

Who can use StatLoom

Anyone 13 or older may create an account. There is no maximum age. College athletes and adults may use StatLoom.

Anyone under 13 is blocked. That is the COPPA line.

An athlete who is 13 to 17 may create an account and fill in the page without a parent present. The public page stays off until a parent or guardian confirms the email StatLoom sends. This is a StatLoom rule for the public link.

Anyone with the link can open a public page at /resume/:id or /p/:slug.

What a public page shows

When the page is on, it shows the athlete's name, photo, position, class year, and school.

The athlete can turn off other groups: measurables, speed and agility, strength, academics, highlight links, and family athletic history. Family athletic history means parent heights, each parent's sport and position, and a projected adult height.

Name, photo, position, class year, and school stay visible while the page is on.

A signed-in coach or recruiter can open a public page.

Videos and other uploads

The athlete keeps ownership of what they upload.

The license is non-exclusive and royalty-free. It covers hosting, storing, human review, and display on that athlete's page while the page is public. It ends when the account is deleted, aside from short-lived backups and logs.

StatLoom does not sell footage or personal information to advertisers.

Verified numbers

The athlete enters a number and uploads a video. A person reviews it. If the review is accepted, that number can show a blue Verified mark. If it is not accepted, the number stays self-reported.

If StatLoom uses an automated suggestion, that suggestion does not by itself mark a number verified.

A Verified mark is StatLoom's review of the submitted video. It is not an NCAA, NAIA, or school eligibility decision.

StatLoom does not supervise the drill. Filming a sprint or jump is the athlete's own activity.

A false, edited, spliced, or misrepresented drill video can be rejected and the account suspended.

Paid plans

If a paid plan is offered, Stripe processes the charge and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period.

The service

The service is provided as is. Access is not guaranteed.

Limits on claims

StatLoom is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, to the maximum extent the law allows. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months. The cap does not apply where the law does not allow it.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, except either party may bring claims in small claims court.

Nothing in these terms takes away a claim that the law of the athlete's state allows a person under 18 to bring in court.
